Perplexity did a fine job explaining an academic concept, identified a math sequence, discussed a cultural issue with context, and analyzed the key themes from a well-known book.

Some of the responses were fairly weak, but some were truly fun reads. The free Claude tier immediately lost 20 points because it won’t generate images.
